can i use a sterilizer to clean my Sassy product?
Sterilizers or any extreme heat will damage product. For detailed cleaning instructions please see back of product packaging.
how can i return a Sassy product?
Sassy does not sell directly to consumers. We are unable to process refunds for products purchased through retail outlets. Please direct all returns to retailers where the product was purchased.
I am having trouble getting the suction cup on my toy to stick.
Always make sure the surface you are trying to stick suction cups to are smooth and flat, and free of debris. You may try wetting the suction cup prior to pressing down on the surface, or wipe the surface and the suction cup with an alcohol-free baby wipe prior to pressing onto a flat, clean, and smooth surface. Suction cups do not work well on textured surfaces.
are the batteries replaceable?
Many of the products Sassy sells do have replaceable batteries, however, others do not have replaceable batteries. If the toy in question has a separate door, or compartment for battery access, then the batteries are most likely replaceable. The battery door is secured with a screw, which MUST remain secured during use to ensure safety of the toy for baby.
can the pieces for the cups be used interchangeably?
Yes, any piece of the cup, hub, valve, strap or handles can be used with any Sassy cup.
are the plastics in Sassy products safe for babies?
As parents ourselves, the safety of the children using and playing with our products is our primary concern. Rest assured that all of our products are tested by third party laboratories to meet and exceed all safety standards including ASTM and CPSC as well as EN71 and Health Canada. Our plastic products are made from materials that pass industry standards for chemicals including BPA and Phthalates.
how do you clean the cups?
Cups must be thoroughly cleaned before use. To do so, separate the three pieces (cup, valve and hub) as well as the silicone strap if applicable. Each piece should be cleaned individually either through the dishwasher, top-rack, or hand washed. Each piece must dry thoroughly to prevent capture of moisture.
